Deadly Envy is the story of a young detective Joe Watson whose family is kidnapped by an anonymous captor. Along with his partner detective and best friend, detective Sarah Watson they both go on an emotional, career and life threatening, quest to rescue his family and discover who the mystery captor is.
Throughout the film the Captor manages to send Joe these traceless videos them just about to torture a member of his family, either his wife Alice or daughter Clara, but never actually shows it. Leaving Joe in a state of fearful anxiety, and dangerous state of mind as he vengefully tries to retrieve them, with the help and accompaniment of his best friend, Sarah. But will they put the clues together in time to find out the mystery captor and save his family?
