What I didn't know about Thrillers was...
- That most thrillers have the structure of something strange happening and not knowing why but in the end they find out the reason. People like those kind of thrillers where things are happening but they don’t make sense to till the end.
- However you can also have thrillers where the end is open. Where it is left to mind boggle the audience and for them to think about what the cause could be for themselves and everyone has their own interpretation.
- However in some thrillers the audience like to have eyes of God.(Seeing all)
- In recent thrillers they seem to love people being in a totally normal predicament and things that suddenly or gradually spin out control.
- Make sure viewer can empathise with your character on screen.
- Alfred H had a thing for blondes; he thought that people would suspect Brunettes too much.
- A remake of psycho was made in 1998 but it wasn’t as good as the original black and white.
- Bernard Hermann composed the music for Alfred Hitchock's Psycho (1960). In case you didn't know - it was genius!

ReplyDeleteWow I never knew that Alfred Hitchcock thought brunettes would be suspected easily but he really does have a point. Look at Myra Hindley, blond haired woman who killed children with her boyfriend but the police never suspected her til late!
