We decided to name our company Paradox Productions as production names are always something memorable, practical or just something different e.g. 20th Century Fox, Pathe (just being named after the French brothers that started it yet still simple and memorable), Buena Vista International (which is in English means "good view" but having it in Spanish makes it more memorable), BBC films (very practical).
Paradox means something absurd or contradictory reflecting the films we make as there is a sense of uncertainty and contraditory concepts within our films. On one level you could say there is always a sense of suspense and uncertainty in Thriller films. In our film there is constant uncertainty as to who has kidnapped the Watsons. However on a deeper level there is contradiction whether our situation is realistic: For a woman to reaaally be driven to kidnap her best friends family... and manage to keep it so long from him and the entire police force who she works for....
